Beater this is the day Kirito and Asuna met. First scene the clearers split into teams and Kirito is stuck with Asuna as his partner (no choice). That night they go on their first date and break bread but Asuna would not take off her cloak or disguise.
The next scene they are fighting Illfang and Kirito discovers Asuna's nickname "Lightning Flash". Asuna takes out all the Kobolds and they have Illfang down to one bar but the information Argo gave them was wrong Illfang does not switch to the Telwar at one bar he switches to the Nodashi which is a one handed katana and he does all of Klein's attacks against them and kills Diavel.
The final scene Asuna and Kirito charge Illfang. Asuna is hit and finally takes off her disguise. Asuna delivers her combo of Linear attacks and her finisher Flashing Penetrator. She then switches with Kirito and he attacks Illfang with his combo of Sonic Leap attacks and he kills Illfang with his finisher Vertical Arc.
After Kirito has a debate with the other players he takes his prize and he disbands his party but before he goes he adds Asuna to his contact list he will see her again later on.
@Cross7 look the point is these two love each other maybe I should add Beater to Favorite Episodes.
If you don't know you should watch or read the books thats what I would do and I won't give you spoilers.
I'll get use to it I just watched Episode zero and one Alice and Asuna tell what happened in season 3. Alice is looking after Kirito he is a vegetable still need to watch episode 5 where they get him his memory back.
I just got back into binge watching SAO from where I left off. I have no problem with the Japanese because there are subtitles and I play Defrag which is also in Japanese. A drawback to using Crunchyroll is too many ads at critical plot points. Any suggestions on a site that does not make you watch ads every time there is a plot?
Mine too since he is the hero but like all the characters except the villains.
Arcs are Season 1 SAO and Aincrad, Season 2 Fairy Dance but Netflix and Hulu bundle them as part of season 1, Phantom Bullet Season 3, Caliber and Mothers Rosario Season 4 but they are bundled with Phantom Bullet as Season 2, Alicization Season 5 but it is labeled as Season 3 since the other arcs are bundled. and the last ones are War and Awaking they might bundle those with Alicization or they can make them their own season.
I can call both of those up Funimation and TV Tokyo require you to sign in or get a membership you can only watch the first two seasons for free everything else is locked to subscribers only. Crunchyroll and Shout Factory are free but they limit their views and Hulu Plus requires a subscription so does Netflix you just have to know what you want to view these episodes.
@Fandyllic I seen those too and I will tell you this Don't Trust YouTube or anything posted on sites that are linked to Google they are liars. If you want to know the schedule go to a site that reviews Netflix and Hulu or go to Netflix and Hulu themselves and click on the new releases and line up tab. That's where I go I don't go to third party sites.
@Fandyllic want a bet? it would be click bait if there is a redirect there is none.
@Fandyllic right here but I can't find the link to the stuff being added to Netflix or being removed but I found this one. https://chaospin.com/netflix-announces-sword-art-online-season-4-release-date/
@Fandyllic right here but on another site they said they are shifting things on Netflix Hulu will get it first then the others.https://chaospin.com/netflix-announces-sword-art-online-season-4-release-date/
@Fandyllic okay but I am going in order right now Netflix and Hulu are weeding their collections some Toonami shows will be added while animi's that Netflix made with TV Tokyo that underperformed will be taken off last I checked they added the first season of Sailor Moon and canceled Vampire they added Gundom and canceled Castlevania and Robotech and last I read SAO will get another season.
@Fandyllic not always but in some cases yes right now Netflix is weeding the Animi category and several Toonomi shows have been added they just added Sailor Moon, Gundom, and the final season of that gimbaling show but they canceled Castlevania, Vampire, and Ghost in a Shell and last I checked SAO is renewed for season 4 every other animi that underperformed is being taken off.
@Fandyllic so far nothing and the person who put that YouTube video on here is lying SAO always releases their seasons in the fall unless something goes wrong. SAO came out 2016 I had to wait a year for Fairy Dance to come out. Phantom Bullet released 2017 2018 I had to wait 4 months for the English dub and they had it in Japanese. Caliber and Mothers Rosario released in 2019 but their seasons were shot. Alternative released last year and some say it is non cannon. Alacization also released last year with a new season released every few weeks. Production stopped in March 2020 and just resumed with the Japanese episodes already aired just waiting for it to be added to Netflix. Uniting ended on a cliffhanger I hate those just waiting for the next season to come out.
@Fandyllic it is based off the novel of the same name. The War comes after it arc wise.
Oh I forgot one House in the Forest now I would call that the best Christmas gift ever. Kirito and Asuna buy their old house that one is my favorite.
One of my favorites is World Seed there are three scenes. The first is when Kirito and Asuna meet for the first time.
My second favorite is when Liz and Silica are eavesdropping on our heroes when they made a deal to leave them alone.
My third favorite from this episode is when Kirito and Leafa are dancing and Aincrad appears in the sky.
Then there was the climax where our heroes reveal their new forms. Klein starts calling himself The Flame Samurai and joins the Salamanders, Liz becomes a Leprechaun, Silica becomes a Cat and transfers Pina to ALO, Sasha joins the Pooka, Agil becomes a Gnome, and Thinker, Yulier, and Asuna become Undine with Asuna herself showing her new form to Kirito. Our heroes then fly to Aincrad beginning another great adventure.
I have 8 and they are from two episodes Black Swordsman and Temperature of the Heart. First scene is after Kirito rescued Silica from the Drunken Apes and gave her her gear and Silica cheered up when Kirito said Silica reminds him of Leafa and later he tells Silica about her and they become friends.
Second scene is when Kirito knocks on her door to show her the map and Silica almost opens the door naked but she remembered to put on her nightgown before she opened the door. (that was close)
Third scene is when Kirito and Silica are headed to the hill and they get ambushed by monsters with the Gerbera hanging Silica upside down until she kills it and later the Ground Anemone ambushes her until Kirito take it out.
Fourth scene would be where Kirito apologizes for using Silica as bait to lure out Titans Hand and Pina is revived.
First scene of Temperature of the Heart is my favorite Kirito goes to Liz to buy a sword and when Liz pulls the sample out from under the counter Kirito destroys it. Liz was mad and Kirito had to go with her to get the ingot to make Dark Repulser.
Second scene is when they are fighting the dragon and they accidently land in its layer. they spend a day down there until the dragon comes back.
Third scene is when they get the ingot and Kirito grouses Liz out and they battle the dragon again and float through the air.
Fourth scene of Temperature of the Heart is my favorite Dark Repulser gets forged and it would come in handy when Kirito defeated Gleam Eyes.
Why are you suggesting this? Kirito and Asuna love each other of course they will stay together. Who took Asuna in after two duels with Heathcliff and Kuradeel? Kirito, who saved her after that incident with Oberon? Kirito, who told her the truth about Yuki Kono? Kirito, and who trusted her to watch his vitals when he went to underworld? Kirito. These too love each other nothing will split them apart.
