Amayori (
Appearance[]
Amayori is a gigantic, silver dragon[3] with triangular scales adorning its entire body. She has two wings that tower like a couple of spires[4], a long neck[3] and a long tail that draws an arc[4]. She has a faintly bluish fuzz growing under her neck[3] and has metal armour equipped on its chest and head when on duty.[4]
Personality[]
Amayori is a very loyal dragon. Despite being released from a binding art that kept her under control and being encouraged to return home, Amayori continued to stay with Alice.
Background[]
Amayori was born in the flying dragon nest in the West Empire. At some point, a binding art was placed on her and she was assigned to serve as Alice's dragon.

On the 23rd Day of the Human Empire Calendar, Amayori and Alice arrived at the Sword Mastery Academy to arrest Eugeo and Kirito. Alice restrained the two criminals, then grabbed the chains extending from their back and attached them to Amayori's left and right legs respectively. After giving some time for Eugeo and Kirito to say their farewells to their valets, Alice had Amayori take off and fly to the Central Cathedral.
Alicization Invading[]
After the fall of Quinella, Alice had Amayori take her to the remote northern region where Rulid Village was located. On the day Alice decided to build a log cabin and settle in, she released Amayori from a binding art placed on her and told her that she was free to return to the flying dragon nest in the west. However, Amayori refused to leave Alice and made a bed out of grass next to Alice's log cabins. For the following several months, she would fly out during daytime to play in the forest and catch fish in the lake, but would return to the cabin on every night. One night, Amayori and her elder brother Takiguri sensed each other's presence in the region and Takiguri landed near the cabin with his rider, Eldrie Synthesis Thirty-one.
The next night, Amayori sensed a disturbance in Rulid Village and alerted Alice to an invasion from the Dark Territory. Deciding to save the villagers, Alice had Amayori fly her to the village. There, Alice saw that the villagers had not evacuated, so she had Amayori fly above the plaza and then asked her to standby, while she jumped off the dragon.
Once the villagers were far away from centre of the plaza, Alice called her dragon to rain down fire on the invaders. Several moments later, Alice called her dragon again, but this time only to intimidate the invaders, as Amayori was not yet ready to fire another heat ray. A week after the end of the invasion, after fastening her belongings to Amayori's leg, Alice sat Kirito in Amayori's saddle then mounted the dragon herself and had Amayori fly towards the eastern skies.
Alicization Awakening[]
After Alice was taken by Vecta, Amayori, alongside Takiguri and Hoshigami assisted the latter's master Bercouli Synthesis One in pursuing after them.
Abilities[]
- Amayori is capable of stockpiling thermal elements within herself and then unleashing the elements in the form of a heat ray.[5]
