I wonder how much of a change it would be if they based a season of sword art online around a surviving laughing coffin member?
What's on your mind?

Well g'day to all you people
I recently finished the first Alicization and -wow- I am confustion and fascination but after rewatching the first episode, it occured to me that not everything was answered about Kirito in the Underworld
Well dear theriosts and explainers answer this.
Who were Kirito's parents in the underworld?
I have a couple of therioes myself but I want to see your answers
Am I the only one who finds Alicia having similarities to Jeanne D'arc from Fate Apocrypha?
Here are some:
-Blonde hair and a braid
-Knight armor
What if they did a Hollow fragment and hollow realization as an anime series, that would be cool, right?
The idea is that the character has more participation in the anime series, as a spin-off in the future Possibly.
What do you think?
Is it possible that yui was named as she was because she was a user interface, i.e. a "u i, or as pronounced with a japanese accent, a yooee? it was a random thought that i am pretty sure is a private joke on the part of one of the writers. if so, thats epic.
Hey guys! I'll like you guys to imagine a scenario. Not saying I want this to happen or anything but really I'm just curious. I want you guys to imagine a scenario where asuna all of a sudden decides to break up with kirito. How do you think kirito will feel? What would he do? Although I know this NEVER will happen I'll like for you to state what you'll think kirito would feel or do if this scenario were to happen.
Don't you think its ironic that kirito recognises heathcliff in series 1 because he is assisted by the console...
yet in later series he himself is assisted by the console through yui...
>>>>also theres no way kirito would ,with however much skill, be able to create a new object in the game (yuis heart) without the gamemaster knowing....
so its almosed like heathcliff allowed yui to live on.
And aid kirito more than heathcliff ever could, its almose like heathcliff is iving on inside yui. so by creating an AR enviroment for yui, they are making a way for heathcliff to come back to life...
Pina is confirmed to be a female since Silica referred to Pina as a "she". In Hollow Realization, Silica mentioned that Pina is a girl after calling it a her.
Yes, I know that the WoG isn't final on this. I would like to point out that a fairly large amount of noise is/was made over Kirito visiting the Yukki household and meeting Asuna's mother. Both of those events are clearly stated as never having happened in SAO9, which happens after OS. Also, there is the discrepancy of the release date of the Augma.
In contrast, I would like to point out that there are things in Progressive that are also clearly pointed out as not having happened in earlier LN. One specific example is the first time Kirito and Asuna formed a party together. The original LN say it wasn't until the Murder Case in the Area, while Progressive has them partied up (so far) thru most of the first five floors.
Both stories are considered to be canon. Anyone want to address why there's such a fuss over what I consider minor retcons, that Kirito went to Asuna's house and met her mother, but the a huge retcon of Kirito and Asuna's early history is quietly accepted?
I don't really get what the PV is actually talking about, so could someone who can read Japanese tell me?
Hello. I understand that it has been declared by Kawahara Reki that Asuna is Kirito's first love as of the published Light novels. Regarding the web novels and past published character interviews, are they considered non-canon now? There, Kirito clearly states that Asuna is his second love and Sachi is his first love. Is progressive in line with the Dengeki published LNs?
Couple more questions:
Why didn't Kirito develop feelings for Asuna earlier given that he spent ample time with Asuna way before he met Sachi?
Did Kirito really like Asuna after Asuna saved his life or because he just didn't want to leave a party member behind(when asuna's image flashed before kuradeel)?
To cut it short.. It's clearly stated when Asuna start liking Kirito but unclear when Kirito started liking Asuna. Can anyone shed light on this matter please?
p.s. I've been having these worries after finding out how much of a healthy teenage boy kirito is in the progressive series.
SPOILERS ARE CONTAINED WITHIN THIS THEORY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Akihiko Kayaba was the development director and Game Master of Sword Art Online. He acted a role as a character named Heathcliff, the leader of the Knights of the Blood Oath, SAO's most powerful guild. Near the end of the Aincrad Arc, Kirito explains that 'No one likes watching people play games', and that was how he knew Heathcliffs real identity. Fast forwarding to the end of the first season, at episode 25 (The end of the Fairy Dance Arc), Kazuto and Asuna were sat on a bench, with Kazuto explaining that Kayaba had commited suicide, but had uploaded his conscious into a server. The theory stands at
'Was Heathcliff REALLY Kayaba?'
The first piece of evidence that pops up is that in order for Kayaba to seem like a trapped player, he had to be logged into the game constantly, but in order to stay in a decent condition, he would've had to log out at at SOME point during the two years that the Aincrad Arc followed.
Going back to the first episode of Sword Art Online, in the square of the Town of Beginnings, where Kayaba explained why players had no log out button, he mentioned that the news had already got coverage of deaths from the people who had their NerveGear headsets removed by someone in the real world. By logic, authorities would've instantly tracked back the game to the head developer, which would've been Kayaba. To prevent himself from being caught and so he could watch the progress of his creation, he uploaded his conscious to the server to 'watch' his players play. My view is that he did this just as he faded away in the Town of Beginnings due to authorities being quick to backtrack his location.
As the NerveGear was built to correspond with the functions of Sword Art online (Killing the wearer of the Gear when they died in-game), Kayba would have had to have a prevention to this, if by some chance his 'Immortaility' were to fail for some reason. If he were to be inside the game at all times, he wouldn't have this issue. In a way, Kayaba was still alive, but after the game was beaten by Kirito, the servers were created to delete themselves when the game ended, which in this case would be along with Kayaba.
Going by this, that raises the question of 'How was Kayaba in the Fairy Dance Arc?'. And the simple answer to that is that Alfheim Online was created from the base code for Sword Art Online, stolen by Sugou Nobuyuki, meaning Kayaba's login for Heathcliff would have still existed because of the stored data (Similar to how Kirito still had ALL his items and skills from Sword Art Online in ALO.) and when Kirito used the 'Heathcliff' login to gain access to the administration commands, Kayaba's consciousness would have, in a way, been stored into the Heathcliff character, bringing back Kayaba into the game to give Kirito the World Seed.
All-in-all, this is meant to explain why I believe that Heathcliff was nothing more than Akihiko Kayaba's consciousness.
I love the Sword Art a Online series as a whole. I've ready about the anime and I know that it is popular worldwide and the LN are still going. Do you guys think that there will be a third season of SAO? If so, when do you think it will come out?
I'm not saying this to trigger the Sword Art Online fandom I'm really not, but let's be serious and face facts, okay?
Given Kirito's antisocial, directly blunt personality, and penchant for teasing others, if Reki Kawahara were to make a reboot of Sword Art Online and take out the sinister themes, replace them with comical and happy themes to the anime, and not make any changes to Kirito's personality traits you would have an anime that would center around an online game troll (Kirito) that would make even PewDiePie look like an lolcow.
Basically, the reboot would still be bad if not worse than the original.
