I added a new template, {{MAL link}} for external linking to MyAnimeList.net. I'm not sure if anyone wants to use it, but it's a good site for anime (and light novel/manga details).
I can add link templates for AniDB and Anime News Network if there's any demand.
This wiki does not use MAL for anything. There probably are people who use it, but I don't remember anyone actually linking it anywhere on the wiki, including personal pages.
Okay, I guess it will be unused and the motivation for other link templates is low. Generally, the only really good use case is for stubbed pages where much of the starting info could come from existing info on somewhere like MyAnimeList.
