The Clearers preparing for the 75th Floor's boss fight.
In Sword Art Online, a Clearer (攻略組, Kōrya Ku Gumi?) is an elite player who is higher level than most other players and focuses on leveling up, and getting better equipment in order to clear all levels of the game. Clearers are looked up to and admired by many with high regard due to their ability to fight on the front lines, which are the most dangerous parts of the death game. Their numbers range around a few hundred out of the remaining 6,000 players left after two years of being trapped in the death game and they are considered a rare sight on the lower floors.
In ALfheim Online, a clearer is a player who contributes to clearing the 100 Floors of New Aincrad.
