A Defense Field (防護フィールド, Bōgo Fīrudo?), also known as an Anti-Beam Defense Field (対光弾防護フィールド, Tai-Koudan Bōgo Fīrudo?), is a device in «Gun Gale Online» that reduces or nullifies the damage dealt by optical guns.[1] The effectiveness of the shield decreases in short range[1].

The device is a rectangle crystal that comes in a variety of colours and is attached to the player’s belt. When a laser beam comes into contact with the field, it appears as a sphere of blue energy.
