  • On the webiste my anime list there is a seaction for season 2 and so I think there will be a season 2

      Loading editor
  • I believe I've told you this several times already, but I'll repeat myself yet again for the final time: why are you using cinematography terms on non-anime articles? Do you see a screen inside a book or something? All chronologies are based on the book, not the anime, so saying "off screen" sounds ridiculous.

Another thing, haven't I told you time after time to avoid unnecessary edits? Does it really matter to Nicholas if we see how he gets killed or not?

  • Do you have any sources to prove that what you said in this edit is true? If you cannot provide a reference for the edit, the content will be undone within 24 hours, as I really doubt that you are actually playing the game to be able to write about it.

    • The problem is that this a reoccuring problem for you - you often make claims, but do not provide any references that would support them, thus your claims look either like a personal opinion, speculation, or just unconfirmed information. As far as I have heard, that was also a frequent problem you had on the Fairy Tail wikia, which apparently has much stricter referencing rules than we do. Thus, if you want your edits to be accepted as reliable, you should remember to add references where needed.

        Loading editor
    • That's what I did in Fairy Tail wiki, the only thing that got me in trouble is because I tend to piss off the FT wiki admins.

  • Please do not add empty sections to articles. Either add them with some content, or don't add them at all. We don't need the article to look like a construction site unless the changes are major and require some time to complete.

  • Well, I would like to congratulate you on finally making some progress on your editing style. Your edits today (and several others this week; the ones where you added appearance and personality sections) were much better than your usual junk editing style, as you have finally started adding missing information to articles, instead of just making unnecessary changes. However, you still have a lot of room for improvement.

Here are a few things that you should work on improving:

    • Fact accuracy. As I have said before, this wiki is very strict on the validity of information on articles, thus you should ensure that whatever you write is correct. Re-reading your edits before publishing to ensure that you did not make any mistakes would be a good idea. You should also try to rely on information from the novel where possible, instead of relying on the anime.
      • "In battle, her original weapon was a lancer, but due to her fear of getting killed in SAO when attempting to strike the target close range, she now wields a sword and a shield." - an example of not checking what you write.
      • Also, avoid making claims without any proof and subjective speculation. Those are bad for accuracy. See: http://swordartonline.wikia.com/wiki/Kagemune?diff=64477&oldid=64476 as an example of subjective speculation that is considered to be bad.
    • Style. As this is a wiki, you should use formal style on articles. Which means that you should avoid being subjecting and using expressions like "pals" and "go-lucky". There are more appropriate ways to express such ideas.
    • Avoid redundant information. If the information is not really important or does not really talk about the subject much, then avoid adding it.
      • ""enjoying good times with his guildmates" - an example of redundancy.
    • Use references and examples. For personality, you should always try to add examples that would prove your statements, like giving an example situation that proves that the character is friendly, out-going etc. or, if such a trait was mentioned somewhere in the novel or somewhere else, referencing it would make your edits much more reliable.

  • Recently, I have noticed that you have been adding information to articles that you yourself are not sure is valid, not to mention that in once case you seemed to have even created your own system of categorisation for guilds, even though such a categorisation was never mentioned.

Therefore, I would like to remind you that this wiki is very strict on the content we have on the wiki. We do not appreciate any speculation on official articles, unless the speculation was made by the characters themselves, and we require all facts to be confirmable, as our goal is for this wiki to be a reliable source of information.

If you are unsure about something that you want to add, then please take the time to ask about it either on the forums or by contacting a senior editor directly. That way, you will be able to confirm whether what you are going to add is appropriate and avoid making mistakes in editing.

    • Okay, I thought it will be nice to categorize the guilds: Clearer, Small and Dark Guilds but since you don't like it due to the policy you mentioned I don't mind.

And I'll be going to the forums now thank you.

        Loading editor
    • If the categorisation was official, i.e. mentioned in any place in the story, then it would be acceptable. However, this is not the case as there's no category named "dark guilds", though "orange guild" and "red guild" are terms used in the story, thus you are not only adding information that is not official, but you are messing up the facts by adding incorrect information, which is completely unacceptable on this wiki.

Additionally, by having "clearer" and "small guild" categories, you imply that all non-small guilds are clearers, when only a small percentage of the players are clearers. There are also crafting guilds in the game. Heck, one guild is a fishing guild. Which category would you place those in, "small guild" or "clearer"? Either one wouldn't be appropriate.

Moral: If you cannot find official information about something, then either ask about it on the forums or a senior editor directly, as making up your own systems will lead to mess ups.

  • I hope you know, that about an hour before you created that page, it was deleted as an anonymous person made it, so it'll most likely be removed today also. You should check before making something like that, especially if it's been deleted recently.

    • I wouldn't take it that far. Nobody would be that stupid. But I don't expect the episode to have much value on its own, as the plot outline hints that it will be a fanservice episode.

Oh, and true fans of the series are those who have read the book, not those who only watch the anime. A real "joke" to us would be if they messed up with the plot.

    • Because mr. kawahara said he misread information given to him and he written 4 times more plots for this EE than originally planned which lead to swimsuits, so I'd expect a short story with a length more than TDA from it...

Where did you see that it was specifically stated that the new footage will be omitted scenes? I only remember the announcements saying that "new footage will be included".

Please reference your claim within 24 hours or I will remove it. We only allow officially confirmed facts on articles, while any speculation is reserved specifically for forums.

but it said that it's a collection of information so there might be no new information

      Loading editor
    • 1. Why are you asking this on a random editor's wall? I would understand if you had asked an administrator or at least a senior editor. You won't always get answers to questions by asking random people.

2.If by Q&A you mean a place to ask a question about the series, you can use the forums for that, though I see that you've already found your way to it.

  • I believe lot of our editors, including even our Overlord Dim1, has informed you about this over and over again.

Please refrain on posting obvious details, which won't any details or information to the article itself. Like your last edit for example. The stance of "the duel will start and players will clash with their weapons and skills" in SAO is really obvious without even you posting it down. I mean, SAO is an action-based MMORPG. When players duel, will you expect a cooking or fashion contest? Obviously won't expect them, but a weapon and skill battles instead, right? So it's need not to be posted.

Also, please refrain on posting tiny amount of edits each time you do edit. Rather, gather all things you deemed need edition on a single page, then edit them altogether. It'll be much more worthy than countless tiny edits. Don't do edits for the sake of edit count or badge, which this is my impression of your edits. Minor edits are acceptable when you're only ammending the mistakes you made on previous edit.

Last thing, regretfully, I need to tell you (which I believe also in behalf of most editors here, who already grown too tired with your edits), that this might be your last chance. Improve your edit based on ALL advices that have been given to you, and refrain on doing such minor, pointless edit ever again. Should I see you do this even just once more time, I'll have you reported for ban to our admin, which will last at most 3 months as stated by Dim in his previous post.

Happy editing, and I really hope you can improve your edit quality, since I don't want to block people who willing to contribute to our wiki. Remembers, quality is more important than quantity.

    • Enough with the guilting advice its making me feel guilty and I'm not even related to the current issue. WM you can get what they are trying to say, don't follow it and there will eventually be consequences (like after 2 more strikes).

    • If he actually listed to the advice, this problem would have been solved months ago now... Anyway, let's stop here. The point was already said: avoid junk content, as it makes us (especially me) mad. Close case here until next time.
