Sugary Days (シュガーリィ・デイズ,Shugāryi Deizu?) is a side story written by Kawahara Reki. It was written and released in parts at COMITIA conventions by the author. A compilation of the author's first five Sugary Days Material Editions (16.6, 16.7, 16.8, 16.9, and Sugary Days 5), with some modifications and additions, was released as a Sword Art Online anime Blu-Ray/DVD bonus, part of the limited edition version of the second season's fifth Blu-Ray/DVD volume on February 25, 2015. A complete compilation of the entire Sugary Days storyline with an original epilogue was released by the author at COMITIA 125 on August 19, 2018.
The story is set after Asuna and Kirito's marriage in The Day Before and chronicles the first days of the newlyweds' life in their newly purchased log house on the 22nd Floor of Aincrad. It later focuses on the acquisition of a table and rocking chair crafted by Mahokl.
