Administrator (アドミニストレータ, Adominisutorēta^?) is the twenty-third episode of the Sword Art Online Alicization anime adaptation. It aired on March 23, 2019.

Plot

Administrator, the ruler of the Axiom Church, cuts off the connection between the Underworld and the real world, and traps Cardinal, Kirito, Alice, and Eugeo in a dark space on the 100th floor. She reveals that the giant Golem she controls is made of divine swords that were once human beings from the Human Empire, and that its core is the Piety module, a device that controls the loyalty of the Integrity Knights. She plans to use half of the human population to create more Golems and fight against the Dark Territory. Cardinal offers to sacrifice herself in exchange for the release of Kirito, Alice, and Eugeo. Administrator agrees and unleashes a barrage of lightning bolts on Cardinal. Before dying, Cardinal fulfills Eugeo's wish to become one with his sword. Eugeo transforms into a sword and destroys the Golem's Piety module, then attacks Administrator and severs her arm. However, Administrator manages to break Eugeo's sword in two.
