The final battle between Kirito and Administrator is a desperate one, as Kirito has to face the supreme ruler of the Underworld who knows every detail of the system. Administrator surprises Kirito by using Sword Skills from SAO, the game that trapped him for two years. Kirito is wounded and loses his right arm, but he is not alone. Eugeo, who has been cut in half but still alive, encourages Kirito to keep fighting and uses his blood and life force to restore the Blue Rose Sword, a crystal weapon that can freeze anything. Kirito takes the sword and dual-wields it with his own, delivering a devastating blow to Administrator's remaining arm. Administrator realizes that she cannot win and tries to escape the Underworld by accessing the system console. However, Chudelkin, her loyal servant who was burned by her fire magic, wakes up and clings to her, begging her not to leave him. The fire elements that were still active ignite them both, and they die in a blaze of flames. Eugeo's life is fading away, and he bids farewell to Kirito with the memory of young Alice in his mind. Kirito goes to the system console and manages to contact the real world, where he learns that the Ocean Turtle, the facility where his body is located, is under attack. Kikuoka tells Kirito to take Alice to the World's End Altar in the Dark Territory, a place where they can cross to the real world, before the communication is cut off. Kirito then collapses from the damage to his Fluctlight, as the power is shut down at Rath, causing a surge that affects his comatose body.
