Instigation (扇動, Sendou^?) is the thirty-ninth episode of the Sword Art Online Alicization anime adaptation. It aired on July 25, 2020.

Plot

Alice is grief-stricken by Bercoulli's demise and hesitates to move on. Sinon urges her to continue towards the World's End Altar and promises to hold off Vector when he comes back from the real world. Elsewhere, Sheyta and Iskahn are engaged in a fierce battle against the enemy forces, until they are exhausted and outnumbered. They confess their love for each other before facing their doom. Asuna and the others are shocked to see Vassago reappear, using his PoH character and commanding a huge army of Korean and Chinese players. Miller returns to the Underworld as Subtilizer and confronts a terrified Sinon. On the Ocean Turtle, Higa is about to hack into the main control room to restore Kirito's Fluctlight when Yanai points a gun at him.
