I just finished SAO II and heard that next year there's going to be SAO III. I don't remember anything about Project Alicization, so I wanted to ask if it's known if it will be in SAO III or not.
I know it wasn't covered in SAO II, so that's why I'm asking. I know very little is known about SAO III, in fact, I'm not even 100% sure SAO III was announced. I'm just wondering, because SAO is amazing, and I would love to see Project Alicization in the Anime. I'm definately reading the light novels soon.
Okay, so probably sometime either next year or maybe 2017. I'd imagine its gonna be 2016 though, cause for it to already be announced and it taking two years-well, I dunno, I guess Toy Story 4 is still another two years away according to the original release announcement. Either way, thanks for the information!
I have no idea where you get your rumours anout a PV being released from, but there has been no word when the next season will be released. The staff has said in a movie interview that the ending scene in the movie is solely meant for hype so that people would know that the story isn't over yet. The current status is still that they're asking for people to wait for an official announcement. Any dates you find anywhere right now are just speculations.
firstly although I admit to being both horrified and fascinated by the idea of creating artificial souls in cyberspace the idea of (after a period of interaction with human caretakers) letting those artificial souls develop their entirely digital society is equally fascinating. as for essentially recreating the souls of newborns to serve as the Adams and Eves of the new virtual world that I am equally torn on. on the one hand it is an opportunity that many would jump at but one that newborns are almost entirely unable to understand are just as powerless to protect themselves from. as for the products of such an artificial environment essentially creating a society that while still imperfect lacks the disregard for laws, strictures, and so on that so plagues human civilizations (past, present, and future) that part while it does seem extraordinary to creatures like humans who acclimated to a legislative environment where the rules are pliable it is possible that in a virtual world and one that is almost entirely populated by artificial souls that such a litigiously rigorous society could not just exist but flourish.
