Yuuki Shouzou is a loving father, having regularly visited his daughter at the hospital during two and half years since Asuna was trapped in Sword Art Online (SAO).
Shouzou would regularly visit Asuna while she was hospitalized. One day, he arrived to the hospital room with Sugou Nobuyuki and introduced him to Kirigaya Kazuto, where they discussed their commitment. After a while, he left Nobuyuki and Kazuto alone in Asuna's room.
After Asuna returned from ALfheim Online, he resigned as CEO of RECT Inc. and retired from work after his company suffered a huge scandal due to Nobuyuki and his team's inhumane experimentation on 300 SAO survivors.
